Who We Are
Labor's Community Agency is a nonprofit, community-based organization and serves as the Community Services Arm of the Colorado AFL-CIO providing assistance to union members, their families and the community. Labor's Community Agency is dedicated to enriching the lives of those in need that are seeking assistance. Labor's Community Agency does provide specialists for individuals and families to help identify problems and explore potential and essential solutions that help meet their needs for healthy, productive lifestyles.
The motto for the AFL-CIO, Community Services Program is "Working, Serving and Giving."
"Working"
Working and reaching out to those social and community based organizations, where we can leverage services and enhance opportunities for those individuals and families that find themselves caught up in the realm of social and economic injustice.
"Serving"
Serving those that find themselves in a crisis situation needing the special personal touch and a hand up to rebuild their self esteem so that they can once again become an intricate part within our communities.
"Giving"
Giving from the heart to those in need and hope of providing a brighter tomorrow for all.
