Description
The following are basic requirements that must be met to participate in this grant program, the participant must:
1. Must have a valid Colorado/Wyoming driver’s license or State ID
2. Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident
3. Must be enrolled at a Workforce Center or be a Union Member
4. All male participants must be registered with Selective Service

Training Provider: DJEATC and Partner JATCs
One of the following three prerequisites must be met:
- Must have received a qualifying score for NJATC Electrical Aptitude test.
- Must have been employed by a NECA Contractor within the last two (2) years.
- Must have been employed by an IBEW Contractor within the last two (2) years.
BICSI Course Description: This course offers certified continuing education for installers and designers of telecommunication equipment and wiring. Students will learn to terminate, test and troubleshoot copper and fiber optic cables, become familiar with EIA/TIA standards and learn the chapters of the National Electric Code that pertains to the telecommunications industry. There is a $135 refundable fee for this course.
