Description
The following are basic requirements that must be met to participate in this grant program, the participant must:
1. Must have a valid Colorado/Wyoming driver’s license or State ID
2. Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident
3. Must be enrolled at a Workforce Center or be a Union Member
4. All male participants must be registered with Selective Service

Training Provider: DJEATC and Partner JATCs
One of the following three prerequisites must be met:
- Must have received a qualifying score for NJATC Electrical Aptitude test.
- Must have been employed by a NECA Contractor within the last two (2) years.
- Must have been employed by an IBEW Contractor within the last two (2) years.
NABCEP-Certified Energy Practitioner Course Description: As the world’s demand for electricity increases, more and different ways to generate electricity are needed. On of these ways is photovoltaic (PV) or solar cells. This course covers how to layout and install a PV system to meet the needs of the customer as well as how to maintain and service a system. All the work will be done on the DJEATC’s own PV system. There is an $85 refundable fee for this course.
