Wind Turbine Orientation - Type 2 Training
Description
The following are basic requirements that must be met to participate in this grant program, the participant must:
1. Must have a valid Colorado/Wyoming driver’s license or State ID
2. Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident
3. Must be enrolled at a Workforce Center or be a Union Member
4. All male participants must be registered with Selective Service

Training Provider: MSLCAT (Mountain States Line Constructors Apprenticeship Training)
One of the following three prerequisites must be met:
- Must have received a qualifying score for NJATC Electrical Aptitude test.
- Must have been employed by a NECA Contractor within the last two (2) years.
- Must have been employed by an IBEW Contractor within the last two (2) years.
Wind Turbine Orientation Course Description: The wind turbine orientation course is for those wishing to enter the field of Wind Turbine construction. Detailed sets of learning objectives are presented to address those areas that have been identified as necessary for anyone working on or in the area of wind farms.
